Just like you, our engineers know an uncomfortable amount about disinfection – this is probably the reason that we are all still able to work hard for our customers!

Our whole team is working tirelessly to make sure we can support you wherever possible during this time of uncertainty. Our site engineers have now increased cleaning protocols so visits may take a little longer than usual. These extra measures are designed to safeguard you as much as them. You will not be charged any extra for any increase in time this may take.

Following RCVS guidelines, all visits should be risk accessed. If you are still carrying out operations this means that your equipment will most likely still need to be serviced as per the usual regulations. As well as keeping in line with regulations, servicing is there to safeguard the health and safety your customers and staff as well as to prolong the life of your equipment.

What We Do…

At Grays we pride ourselves on cultivating relationships with our clients. During servicing appointments our engineers are happy to give refresher courses on usage and advice on daily/weekly cleaning routines. Our customers can call our experienced technical staff by telephone throughout the year for guidance on any problems or concerns they may have, without incurring any additional charge.

On average last year, 94% of technical calls we received from our current customers were solved over the phone without the need for a visit. Not only does this reduce annual maintenance costs, but allows our customers to offer an uninterrupted service to their clients.

By ensuring your units are well maintained and that your staff are confident in using your equipment, many repairs can be avoided.

No matter where you purchased it – our team can help with any aspect from layout recommendations to installation or even removal/disposal of old equipment.

Loan units

We have a wide range of loan units available to help keep your practice running smoothly.

Validation – HTM01-05 & SHTM2010

Our engineers are trained on installation, commissioning, validation, periodic testing and routine maintenance of benchtop sterilisers (autoclaves)

Annual Pressure Vessel Inspection certification (PVI)

Many customers ask our engineers to meet with their insurance inspectors to carry out their annual PVI. Our engineers are all certified ‘competent examiners’ and so can carry out the inspection with or without your insurance inspector onsite.

Written Scheme of Examinations (WSE)

In accordance with requirements of regulation 8 of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulation 2000:128, all steam autoclaves require a WSE be carried out every 5 years. We can produce this for any age of autoclave, no matter where purchased.
